When do auctions go live?

We're targeting early 2026. The exact date depends on dealer onboarding and the regulatory review for online vehicle auctions in United States.

Who can bid?

Any verified Sorted Car buyer. You'll need a free account and one-time KYC (ID + payment method) before placing your first bid.

What if my winning bid is below the reserve?

The dealer keeps the car. You're not on the hook — auctions below reserve simply close without a sale. You can browse the regular marketplace in the meantime.

Are dealers vetted differently for auctions?

They go through the same verification as regular dealers, plus an additional auction-specific agreement covering reserves, dispute handling, and post-sale obligations.
